Public Service Announcement: COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments Available for Local Residents Aged 75 and Older

Are you, or is someone in your life, aged 75 years or older?  Now is the time to get your first COVID-19 vaccination!  Appointments are available throughout the region, as early as this week!

Local vaccination clinics are run by welcoming and caring local health professionals, follow strict health and safety protocols, and are accessible even if you use a walker or wheelchair.

To book your appointment, visit Ontario.ca/bookvaccine.  If you are unable to book online, contact the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900.  The line is available 8 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Sunday.  Individuals who do not have a photo ID health card will be required to book by phone.

If you need assistance with transportation (including accessible) across Hastings County, help is available. Please visit: https://unitedwayhpe.ca/transportation/ to see what transportation is available in your area.

The sooner you get your vaccine, the sooner you can be protected from COVID-19.  To get your appointment as quickly as possible, visit ontario.ca/bookvaccine!

Please note that eligibility is limited to individuals 75 and older, unless you have received a direct invitation from the Ministry of Health as a member of a priority group.
